There are many reasons why you would need a divorce attorney to act on your behalf. Although the majority of settlements can be done without involving any lawyers. If the parties are in agreement and are having an amicable arrangement, the work for a divorce attorney is kept to a minimum, that includes the cost.
However there are a few important aspects, that really do need a lawyer to a least make sure that all the boundaries of law are respected.
